Αυτός ο τόμος περιέχει το πρόγραμμα και τις περιλήψεις (σε ελληνικά και αγγλικά) του διεθνούς συνεδρίου ΑΡΧΙΤΕΚΤΟΝΙΚΗ ΤΟΠΙΟΥ – ΕΚΠΑΙΔΕΥΣΗ, ΕΡΕΥΝΑ ΚΑΙ ΕΦΑΡΜΟΣΜΕΝΟ ΕΡΓΟ (Θεσσαλονίκη, Μάιος 2005).
Μέλη της ακαδημαϊκής κοινότητας, ερευνητές και επαγγελματίες από όλη την Ελλάδα, τα Πανεπιστήμια της χώρας, τις Δημόσιες Υπηρεσίες, την Τοπική Αυτοδιοίκηση, τον Δημόσιο και τον Ιδιωτικό Τομέα, ενδυναμώνουν με τις πολυάριθμες και ενδιαφέρουσες ανακοινώσεις, posters ή τη συμμετοχή τους, τις προσδοκίες για γόνιμο διάλογο και χρήσιμα συμπεράσματα. Πρόκειται για αρχιτέκτονες τοπίου, αρχιτέκτονες, γεωπόνους, δασολόγους, πολεοδόμους, χωροτάκτες, γεωγράφους, οικολόγους που εκπαιδευτικά ή ερευνητικά ασχολούνται με το αντικείμενο, ή ασκούν εφαρμοσμένο έργο Αρχιτεκτονικής Τοπίου στην Ελλάδα.
Η διεθνής εμπειρία παρουσιάζεται από διακεκριμένους καθηγητές, καταξιωμένους Αρχιτέκτονες Τοπίου ή μελετητές σύγχρονων μεγάλων έργων σχεδιασμού τοπίου στην Ευρώπη και αλλού. Μεταξύ αυτών περιλαμβάνονται οι:

This volume contains the programme and the abstracts (in greek and in english) of the international Conference “Landscape Architecture: Education, Research and Practice” (Thessaloniki, May 2005).
Participants of academic community, researchers and professionals from all over Greece in national universities, municipal authorities, public and private sector are strengthening our expectations for a fruitful dialogue and useful conclusions by submitting numerous and interesting papers and posters: landscape architects, architects, agriculturists and foresters, urban and city planners, geographers and ecologists who work at the academic or professional fields of the Landscape Architecture in Greece.
The international perspective is presented by distinguished professors and recognized landscape architects of contemporary landscape projects in Europe or elsewhere. These are:
