“THE” Coatings in Manufacturing Engineering

“THE” Coatings Conference represents the joint effort of three academic Institutions, of the Institute for Production Engineering and Machine Tools (IFW), University of Hannover, of the Laboratory for Manufacturing Technology (LFT), University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and of the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Manufacturing Engineering (EEΔM), Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki, to establish an international forum concerning the coatings applications in the field of production technique.
The scope of the Conference, which is intended to be organized every two years in Greece and in Germany alternatively, embraces the state of the art and the future trends in coatings research and development, focused on the industrial applications in manufacturing engineering, as well as encouraging the international collaboration.
It is a great privilege and honor for the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Manufacturing Engineering of the Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki to host the 1st International Conference Coatings in Manufacturing Engineering. The scientific and social events of this Conference aim among others to support personal and professional contacts, contributing herewith to the establishment of innovative collaborations in the coatings technology field.
